Door Hardware & Access Control

The hardware on your doors is the physical expression of your security strategy. We specify, supply, and install door hardware that meets life safety codes, ADA accessibility standards, and the real-world demands of your building — from a single entry point to an enterprise-wide access ecosystem.

Not all door hardware is created equal — and the wrong specification can create life safety violations, ADA exposure, or security gaps that no software can fix. 4S Lock and Safety brings technical expertise and code knowledge to every hardware decision. We work with architects, facilities managers, and building owners to specify hardware that works on day one and holds up for years.

Products & Solutions We Install

Automatic Door Operators

Motorized door operators provide ADA-compliant, hands-free entry for people with disabilities, patients, staff with full hands, and anyone who needs frictionless access. We install, service, and certify automatic operators for commercial, institutional, and government facilities.

Door Closers

A properly specified and adjusted door closer is a critical life safety component — it ensures fire doors latch completely and that controlled areas stay controlled. We install and adjust commercial-grade closers to meet NFPA 101 requirements.

Electric Latches

Electric latches allow doors to be released remotely, enabling controlled access from a front desk, security station, or access control system. Ideal for reception areas, entry vestibules, and restricted zones.

Electric Strikes

Electric strikes replace the fixed strike plate with a motorized one that can be released remotely while keeping the door hardware intact. They are widely used in access control installations for offices, apartments, and institutional facilities.

Exit Devices (Panic Hardware)

Exit devices — also called crash bars or panic bars — allow fast, safe egress during emergencies while maintaining building security from the outside. We install and certify exit devices in full compliance with NFPA 101 and local fire codes.

Magnetic Locks (Maglocks)

Electromagnetic locks use a powerful magnet to hold a door closed and release instantly on power interruption or credential presentation. We install maglocks with the proper fail-safe/fail-secure configuration and the required egress hardware to remain code-compliant.

Physical Access Control Systems (PACS)

A PACS integrates your door hardware, credentials (cards, fobs, mobile), and software into a single managed system. We design, install, and commission PACS systems that scale from a single controlled entry to a multi-building enterprise environment — with full audit trail, user management, and integration capabilities.

Physical Access Control — More Than a Lock

A Physical Access Control System (PACS) transforms your building's doors into a managed, auditable security ecosystem. Instead of keys — which can be copied, lost, and never truly revoked — a PACS uses electronic credentials that can be assigned, modified, and deactivated instantly. Every entry and exit is logged. Permissions are managed by role. Schedules are automated. Alerts are real-time.

4S Lock and Safety designs and installs PACS for hospitals, schools, government facilities, multifamily properties, and commercial buildings of all sizes. We work with leading access control platforms and integrate with existing building systems wherever possible.

Every security strategy starts with a conversation.
